Step 1: Do Step 1.

Big ideas fall short of their potential every day.

Often, our biggest projects fail because we’re trying to see the marathon’s finish line when we’re only 100 meters into the race.

Finishing a massive undertaking is hard.

Doing the next step of the hundred steps necessary to finish a massive undertaking is far less difficult.

If you’ve got such a project, idea, venture, or endeavor in mind and find yourself in danger of running out of steam…try starting where you’re at.

If that’s at the beginning, then do Step 1.

You can eat an elephant one bite at a time. It’s gross to think about and most likely illegal.

But true.
